The identity of the victim has not yet been released, but police say that the man lived at the nearby Steel Plaza Apartments, a senior living facility.

In a case like this one, a wrongful death claim can be made by the family of the victim against the driver and owner of the SUV if they are located. However, if the driver is not located, it would be necessary to find an uninsured motorist policy for the victims.
