4 Police Officers Injured in West Hills Car Accident

A West Hills car accident early Saturday morning injured four police officers, including one who suffered very serious injuries. According to the Los Angeles Times, the car accident in West Hills happened when a woman apparently fell asleep on the road and hit a parked police car. Two police officers were then hit by the police car, and two other officers, in another police car, were then hit by the first police car.

As a result of the West Hills car crash, three police officers had to be transported to Northridge Hospital. The officer who sustained catastrophic injuries in the West Hills accident apparently suffered internal injuries and a broken leg. This officer was listed in serious condition. The other two officers who suffered West Hills car accident injuries were treated and released.


According to investigators, the woman who caused the West Hills crash was not intoxicated at the time, and she was also treated for her injuries before being released.
