Young Motorcyclist Suffers Personal Injuries in Head-on Southern California Collision

A young 19-year-old boy was seriously injured in a San Marcos motorcycle accident. According to Fox 5 San Diego News, the young motorcyclist was hit head-on near Palomar College.  The motorcyclist was driving on West Mission Road in San Marcos in the early afternoon. A 1990 Lexus pulled directly into the young motorcyclist’s path at Knoll Road, sending him crashing into the car. The teen was immediately rushed to the hospital. Medics reported that motorcyclist suffered serious and traumatic injuries, though not life-threatening.

The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation. Authorities do not yet know who was at fault, but alcohol was ruled out as a factor in the crash. If the Investigators determine the cause of this Southern California motorcycle crash was due to careless or reckless driving on the Lexus driver’s part, the young motorcyclist will be able to make a Southern California personal injury claim against the driver of the Mercedes.

When a motorcycle accident like this one results in serious injuries, it typically means a long, and expensive, recovery process. This motorcycle injury claim would include damages to help with medical bills, loss of earnings, pain, suffering and other damages, which would be proved by a Southern California motorcycle accident lawyer.
