Motorcyclist Killed in Downtown Los Angeles Motorcycle Accident

A motorcyclist was killed early this morning in a Los Angeles motorcycle accident on the Harbor Freeway. According to the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles motorcycle crash occurred at about 3:45 in the morning, south of downtown on the Harbor Freeway north, near Adams Blvd.

The California Highway Patrol is in charge of investigating the cause of the motorcycle accident in Los Angeles. One possible cause was apparently that a driver may have been attempting to avoid hitting a mattress which was on the freeway.

It is not presently known whether the driver trying to avoid the mattress was the motorcycle rider or the driver of the pick up truck that collided with the motorcycle in this tragic motorcycle crash in Los Angeles.

The family of the killed motorcycle rider may be able to make a Los Angeles wrongful death claim for the motorcycle accident death. In order to do this, the heirs of the deceased should contact a Los Angeles wrongful death lawyer to investigate the cause of the motorcycle accident and to determine if there are any responsible parties to make the claim against. Possible sources of recovery for the family of the biker killed in the crash could be the driver of the pickup truck or the source of the mattress on the road.

Our Los Angeles personal injury lawyers have recovered money for injured parties against those responsible for causing hazards in the road. In these circumstances, it can be very difficult to prove who caused the hazard. This is why a Los Angeles motorcycle accident lawyer should be hired immediately.
